Homeowners Insurance Coverage (HO-3):
This type of policy offers building, personal property (furniture, clothing, appliances etc), loss of use, and liability coverage to the owner/occupant(s) of a dwelling that is exclusively used as a private residence. Some of the coverages available on this policy include:

Windstorm Coverage:
Windstorm plans in Florida offer coverage for damages as a result from wind and hail only. Windstorm coverage is automatically included in your homeowners policy IF you live west of I-95. If you live east of I-95, you will need a seperate policy for these coverages.
Flood Insurance Coverage:
This is a federally insured program that provides Flood Insurance to individuals and businesses in flood prone areas. Coverage is available for both buildings and personal property (furniture, clothing, appliances etc). Flood is the most common natural disaster in the United States and almost everyone has some risk of flooding.
Condo Insurance Coverage (HO-6):
This policy type offers building, personal property (furniture, clothing, appliances etc), loss of use, and liability coverage to the occupant(s) of an owner-occupied condominium or cooperative unit. The dwelling unit must be for residential purposes only.
Renters Insurance Coverage (HO-4):
This policy type offers personal property (furniture, clothing, appliances etc), loss of use, and liability coverage to the occupant(s) of a tenant-occupied dwelling, condominium, or apartment. The dwelling unit must be used for residential purposes only.
